Well, we've finally caught the Halloween bug. Better late than never, right? But who says the holiday has to be all grim and ghouls!? We're bored with the tired old black and orange thing, so we're giving Halloween a bright makeover with a little help from our friends at Bash Party Goods! Bash's motto is "make everyday a party!" and that's definitely something we can get behind! A cheerful splash of mint, the most darling piñata, a few painted pumpkins, and we've got the perfect party set up to get a little spooky this weekend!
Check out that pumpkin tap, you guys! We can't think of a more festive way to serve up your favorite seasonal drink. Hollow out a pumpkin, tap it, then fill with a warm boozy punch or pumpkin beer. Your guests will absolutely love it! We filled ours with this easy cider recipe.
Rum Cider Punch //
1 gallon apple cider
3 cups of rum
2 cinnamon sticks
1 apple, thinly sliced
1 small piece fresh ginger, peeled2 cinnamon sticks
Mix apple cider, ginger, sliced apple, and cinnamon ingredients together in a large pot on your stove. Heat on high and bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for five minutes. Remove from stove and add in rum. Let cool slightly and transfer to hollowed out pumpkin. Garnish with apple slices and cinnamon sticks.
