Plant Shopping

Over the weekend, we stopped by a local nursery to pick up a few plants and herbs. We're both super eager to get our backyard gardens planted and growing but Spring is late in coming to Chicago this year. Surrounding ourselves with some serious greenery was good for our souls and gave us a little hope that we'll have our hands in the dirt soon enough!

Do you have a green thumb? Claire is a pretty seasoned gardner while Lauren is more of a novice. We'll be talking more about gardening, growing, and all things green later this week in a new series we've been working on. See you then!

    1. Meg, it is Adams & Son. Definitely go back! They have a great selection (lots organic) and you can't beat their prices.

  2. Yay! I'm excited for your gardening series! I'd say I'm an in-betweener. I've had some good luck and some failures with gardening and I've mostly only done herbs and veggies. I need to check out Adams & Son. It looks adorable. I'm close to Gethsemane up in Andersonville. I love walking around there and just looking. -Katie
