If you've been reading this blog for a while or if you follow us on Instagram, you're probably all too aware of our mild (ok, major) obsession with Gather Home + Lifestyle. The Wicker Park shop is like a modern day minimalist general store and is filled to the brim with all the dreamiest stuff. Owner, Kristen Basilo, sweetest person in town and all around bad ass boss lady, has omg impeccable tastes. Hand curating a selection of dreamy goods - including home decor, apothecary, prints, ceramics, and accessories for men and women - came easy to her. Her background in Visual Merchandising certainly didn't hurt, but when she began to compile her vendor list, Kristen looked to pieces from independent makers that already filled her home and small designers that ran through her Instagram feed. Gather is our go-to spot to browse for super unique gifts. And we usually can't help but take home something for ourselves as well!
