LIFE/STYLE: Capes + Ponchos

December is here and the days are getting colder. Icy Chicago Winter is just around the corner for us and its only a matter of time before we'll be donning our big bulky coats.  But for right now, we are savoring these last few chilly and sunny days when the temperatures are just right for layering to stay warm. 
We're kicking off our very first ever style feature with an homage to our favorite way to layer...Capes and Ponchos! 
We've been hoarding piles of these and throw one on whenever we head outdoors. We love that the style is simple and super practical but at the same time unexpected and cool in a I'm-not-even-trying kind of way. Sure, we may look a little like we’re channeling our inner Clint Eastwood, but we feel oh so 70’s and cozy.
