DIY: Holiday gift wrap ideas

There is maybe only one thing I love more than giving gifts...and that is wrapping them! I’m a firm believer that the prettier a gift is wrapped, the more fun it is to open! Store bought paper is adorable and all but tearing into a present that is uniquely wrapped makes the gift receiver feel so much more special, don’t you think? Below we shared three creative ways we gussied up our gifts this year.

We wrapped our gifts in repurposed paper that we found lying around our homes and studios...a couple of brown paper grocery sacks, last Sunday’s newspaper, and a few vintage maps. Skip traditional bows and ribbons and go for something a little more fun! We opted for Christmas ornaments, sprigs of pine, pom poms, feathers, and painted plastic toy animals. To add a little something extra we stamped a pattern on to the newspaper with acrylic paint.

We loved the way these presents turned out and can’t wait to give them! How will you be wrapping your holiday gifts this year?

  1. Love, love, love! So pretty. I also adore those old rusted scissors and your blue Mason jar.
